Prices and billing
How much does a hostess cost for a day?
The short answer
For an eight-hour day, a fully managed hostess costs between 43,200 and 57,600 HUF, which is 5,400-7,200 HUF an hour, covering the wage, the public charge and the admin. If you are the employer, you pay only our coordination fee of 1,100-1,600 HUF an hour, alongside the wage and the 4,800 HUF daily EFO public charge.
Why that is
The daily price derives from the hourly rate rather than the other way round, because most events don't run eight hours. The public charge, though, is a daily item: four hours costs the same 4,800 HUF as eight, so a half-day shift is dearer per hour. A four-hour hostess shift therefore lands around 6,900-8,900 HUF an hour fully managed, not 5,400.
The bottom of the band is a weekday assignment in Hungarian with basic duties; the top is work requiring languages, protocol or on-site responsibility. Weekends, public holidays and nights add a surcharge, and larger headcounts attract a discount.
