Why us
What we do, how, and why it's better
We supply staff for events and campaigns. That alone isn't a differentiator, plenty of people say it. The difference is what happens between the booking and the event, and what happens when something goes wrong.
What we do
Three things, and we see all three through. We're not a broker: we stand behind the crew on site too.
Find the right person
Not whoever happens to be free, but whoever fits the job. We cast from a vetted pool against your brief.
Prepare them for the task
The crew arrives knowing your brand, the task, the dress code and the venue. They don't start orienting at the gate.
Be there on the day
A team lead above five people, a dedicated coordinator on every booking. One phone number, from brief to final report.
How it works
Four steps on a predictable timeline. In a rush, the same sequence runs inside 24 hours.
- 01Day 0
Request
Send the date, venue, headcount and task. That's enough to start.
- 02Within 1 working day
Itemised quote
Hourly rate, surcharges, travel and gross total, broken out. Not one number, a preview of the invoice.
- 03A week ahead at the latest
Casting and brief
We assemble the crew and pass on your brief. On larger bookings we name the team lead.
- 04On the day
Delivery
The crew is on site 60-90 minutes before doors. The coordinator stays reachable and replaces anyone who drops out.
Why this beats most of the market
Not because we're friendlier. Because these procedures exist, and you can hold us to them.
You don't get a stranger
Every colleague passes four stages: application, interview with a language check, a trial shift alongside an experienced lead, then a score after every single job. That score decides who we propose next.
At a broker, the 'database' is often a list of phone numbers. You get whoever picks up.
A drop-out isn't your problem to solve
We plan with reserves and the coordinator replaces within hours. For ongoing partners that's a contractual window, not goodwill.
Two people vanish on Saturday morning and the organiser is making phone calls instead of running their event.
The crew arrives prepared
We pass on your brief and settle the venue details in advance: staff entrance, changing area, contact. The team lead runs a briefing before doors.
Staff learn the task at the gate, and the first hour goes on finding their bearings.
One phone number, not five
A dedicated coordinator from booking to close, and a team lead on site above five people. Changes go to them, not to each person individually.
With a crew of ten you're messaging ten people while also running the event.
Transparent pricing, no surprises
An itemised quote: hourly rate, surcharges, travel and gross total on separate lines. If it isn't in the quote, we don't invoice it.
One total with no explanation, then travel and a weekend surcharge appear on the invoice.
The same crew comes back
For ongoing partners we hold a named crew. By the second booking they know the venue, the menu and your expectations.
New faces every time, and everything explained from scratch every time.
Three routes, three outcomes
For the same job. We're not always the right answer, but the difference should at least be visible.
| Staffpont | Typical broker | Doing it yourself | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Selection | Interview, trial shift, scored after every job | A list of phone numbers | Friends of friends, unvetted |
| Quote turnaround | 1 working day, itemised | A few days, a single total | None, you do the maths |
| If someone drops out | Replaced within hours, guaranteed | “We'll try to sort it” | You're calling round on the morning |
| Preparation | Brief, dress code, venue knowledge in advance | Hit and miss | On site, as you go |
| On-site management | Coordinator + team lead above 5 | None, or charged extra | You are the coordinator |
| Administration | Employment, registration and invoicing with us | Varies, often falls to the client | Entirely yours |
| Scalability | From 2 to several dozen, across sites | Limited | As far as your contacts reach |
When not to call us
Sometimes another route is better. Better to know that now than after a booking that didn't fit.
If you need a permanent, full-time person
That's a case for staff leasing or a direct hire, not casual event staff. We can help with selection, but long-term employment is a different arrangement.
If you need one person for two hours
Our four-hour minimum makes that cost more than it's worth to you. We'll say so rather than take the booking.
If the lowest price is the only criterion
We won't be cheapest, because we don't skip selection and coordination. Whoever skips those can undercut us.
Let's look at the actual job
Send the date, the venue and the headcount, and you'll have an itemised quote within one working day.
