Guaranteed wage minimum
Definition
The guaranteed wage minimum is the higher statutory pay floor that applies to roles requiring a qualification.
In practice
Most event staff work in roles that don't require a qualification, so the minimum wage is their applicable floor. For roles that do require one, the guaranteed wage minimum applies, and the tax-exempt threshold is higher with it: 22,308 HUF a day rather than 19,305.
