Definition
An offsite is a working day or team programme held away from the company's own premises, usually spanning several locations and a meal.
In practice
An offsite is logistically harder than a conference because participants move through the day: transfers, multiple venues and food at an in-between hour. For staffing that means building in changeover time, and the coordinator's role matters more than the headcount.
